So I literally said out loud several times, “Mom, I’m going to need my calendar and this pillow,” and I handed them to her to put in the suitcase she was bringing home. Apparently they got put in the suitcase that is in storage in Texas. Not at home.

aslkjfdslkdjf I am so whiny and complainy tonight but I can’t sleep without that stupid pillow. The calendar I can live without but when I asked her about it she said “I didn’t know I was supposed to bring it home?” and just aldksjsldkfj

I love my mom. She is actually the greatest and I am so lucky to have her. Honestly. It’s just frustrating because sometimes it feels like she just doesn’t listen to me. And I know that people forget things and things happen and it’s not a big deal, but it’s just a lot of little things.

Like, she never remembers that I don’t like cheesecake. I’ve been her daughter for almost 19 years, and at almost every family event, we get cheesecake. And like, fine, whatever. I just won’t have dessert. But then she asks why and I just say, “I’m not a fan of cheesecake” and then she and everyone in the family looks at me weird and asks “What’s wrong with you?”

GEE IDK MAYBE I’VE TOLD YOU GUYS THIS EVERY YEAR AND NO ONE SEEMS TO REMEMBER OR CARE AND YES IT’S DUMB AND IT SHOULDN’T BOTHER ME BUT IT DOES

Wow this got out of hand really fast. I need to go to bed.

So Mom was upset with me because I went to go buy myself lunch today, but like … what else was I supposed to do? Literally the only things that I could have made for myself in the house right now were box macaroni and top ramen.

Which, you know, I don’t have a problem with, except that that’s what I’ve eaten for the past two days already. So, yeah.

I have never understood when people watch a kissing scene and say “omg that couldn’t have all been acting!!!!!”

Seriously? From the actors’ perspectives, they are literally in one of the most uncomfortable scenarios. There’s tons of people watching them, there are cameras in their faces, and they have to kiss this person in front of everyone, probably multiple times. And I’m not saying that no actor has ever enjoyed a kissing scene, but like, that doesn’t mean that they feel attracted to the person that they’re kissing.

If an onscreen kiss is bad and there’s no chemistry or anything, then the acting is criticized.

But if an onscreen kiss is good and there is chemistry, there’s the automatic response of “OMG THAT WAS SO NOT ACTINGGGG”

Like, here’s a thought. Maybe they just happen to be really great actors? They’re in character. Their characters are in love/like each other/want to kiss one another. Actors are not their characters, and just because their characters might feel that way, that doesn’t mean the actors do too. But if they show that they don’t feel attracted to the person, then the acting suffers, so they can’t.

Because, you know.
